For this war it was ok not to participate, as it came out of the blue so suddently, but in future, everyone is expected to give back to the alliances. Wether it be support or spying or donating to others, it needs to be done. We do not want to harbour those who are in just for a free ride. We prefer loyalty over any other trait.
Not participating in the latest is forgiveable due the circumstances. We however have notes of all new members, and while big majority of it is very positive, not all of it is.

Unfortunately I had two issues that stopped me from really participating, both of which I found very frustrating.
Firstly I only have 20 LWS and 12 SWS thats now, when we started the attacks I had about 8 LWS and 10 SWS
Secondly it would take me almost 20-30 mins to check the forums and we only had targets to attack(most of which were over 30 Hrs away), my contribution would have been barely a flea bite. What I would have liked was direction in terms of maybe some resources to send to help.
As we were caught short when this all started perhaps this is some of the problem. If there is some way I can assist now to get people back up to status before the war then please advise

Yes, the amount of catchup needed to be up-to-date is definitely a problem. We cant demand anyone to read 300 messages and then act accordingly. It is just impossible for a normal person. (Luckily we have few abnormals here who can stretch to amazing online hours at time of crisis)
But like i said, its not a big issue in the case of this war. Im merely stating that we give a lot and occasionally expect stuff in return.
