This needs a lot of ducks lined up, and even then I don't know if it would work or be worthwhile. Anyhoo, here is the plan.
You colo attack comparitively distant Digg target from an island possibly vulnerable to fleet steals (making sure that there is a Digg player willing and able to take the 'opportunity').
When said Digger spys your isle he will find the isles large fleet gone. Hopefully he will try and take the isle to appropriate said fleet.
Of course, the colo fleet will be a standard 80 LWS + 1 colo OR just a colo by itself. The bulk of the fleet will be kept out and only brought back when Digger sends in his colo fleet.
Ideally, the target Digg isle can be flattened by the allies before the colo fleet turns up. If not a long distance lone colo could draw stoners to an island we plan to ignore.
SO...in conclusion we trick Digg into trying to fleetsteal a buffed up isle and steal one of their isle in the process. Or force them to divert their stoners to an isle we don't want.
Thoughts?

rmellin (renamed blaublue) is probably a viable target. He is lethal in terms of fleetsteals, and would never miss an opportunity. He is also located heavily in o13 and o3.

enfugo26 tried to get a fleetsteal on me in ocean 33. I'm not quite thrilled with the idea, it seems too risky, but he'd probably be a viable target.

O33 is a bad spot for this even if it is good idea.
It would want to be in a divided ocean where we can drop stoners and counter attack if we hit problems.

I'd be interested to try this out. But it needs to be done properly. Hmmm...I can't coordinate this right now. But, maybe someone else could *looks at domhnall*

Ehhh...I've never done anything this big. I'll do some research tho. See what I can find out. Pre-Christmas is a busy time for everybody. While the US Postal Service is not deterred by rain, sleet, or snow, the US Army is a different beast. Christmas time, when we're not deployed, we find ourselves working half-day schedules and long weekends. This next week I'll have minimal online time with 6-consecuetive days of training, but after that, I should have sufficent idle time to properly plan and coordinate this. EXPECTED DATE OF PRE-PLANNING: 10 December EXPECTED DATE OF EXECUTION: 15 December If anybody can work on a quicker schedule, by all means...

As a contingency I suggest a friendly nearby island with a colony ship and decent fleet, in case something goes wrong and you need to quickly recapture the island.
