So I send stoners to defend my island, so not to lose it to his cats...

I'm going to awake to his screaming tantrum fit. But he sent cats at an island he did not clear. Seeing as he did not send a clearing fleet, or that fleet ran into zero defenses, it clearly demonstrates that he knew it was in the process of being cleared, and hence his cat(s) with his colo fleet is aggressive enough an action that I feel compelled to defend myself. Such aggressive actions do not display an inclination to return an isle if it is taken.
The last DIGGer to attack an uninhab I cleared/colo'd, did so with 54 cats and wreaked havoc, costing me an extra colonyship. I do not intend to let it happen again, particularly to a 1,000-pt isle that I spent 300 LWS to clear.
I anticipate Werddrew will raise Holy Hell in the morning, but I honestly do not know what his complaint could be - he sent cats with his colonyship. Ironically, flying in the face of his "CE-v1" he boasts in his profile.
EDIT: Sent an extra shipment of stoners a few moments ago.
