I think he means it in a friendly way. Probably a communication issue, as he's German and thus very direct.

Edit: he's only 16, so I'd say his English is pretty good, but it's the pragmatics which you can only pick up through continuous use that he's lacking.

Hmm... Well looking at his profile again, it seems you may be right. (Don't bash us 16 year olds though ) And then "only good for oyu!" seems to dampen the tone of the letter. Still, do you think he has a point?

I think he wanted to say he only meant it as good advice, having your own best interest in mind.

He probably has a minor point, but as you're still sharing the account between the two of you, and in the absence of an IK police force I think it's not an issue.
