Getting guidance about position of lords belonging to a dead player. Rorthron got it, so I suppose everyone gets it.

Aha, a side-effect of keeping statues. Strictly speaking not a bug, since the lords are still alive. I rather like the fact of knowing where these lords are, but I canchange it if others find it useless!

In what way is information about statues useful? Do they become recruitable over time?

Once I hid two armies among a dead lord's statues...

In what way is information about statues useful? Do they become recruitable over time? No, but they do give you an idea of what that kinf was up to, and maybe you can deduce info about other kings from that (defensive or attacking troop movements maybe?). Ok, rather a tenuous benefit. I'll change it. Sniff. More work for the poor unhappy developer. Sniff...

I'd rather see they become recruitable.

We discussed this beforeand it went around in circles.
Maybe a compromise would be to make them recruitable after 5 days, to give people a chance of getting to them in time?

Yes, that was much discussed, but I think there was a sort of agreement before it petered out. Something like them getting ever more scared and when terrified becoming recruitable. But I might be wrong, maybe that was just my idea about it.

I'd also like to see them shrink (to reflect dispirited troops deserting). Perhaps by 10% every day after the king is gone? After 5 days they become recruitable and the shrinking effect stops once they are recruited. That would reduce the effect they have on the balance of power, otherwise resignations could become very contentious issues in multi-player games.
