1. Iliad continues to snipe l3x-x islands in o33. Quazi over-colonized one that Nougat had cleared, and Nougat informed him of his intentions to retake the island. Quazi proceeded to drop 1500 stoners and kill Nougat's coloship.
It's all I can do right now to keep DIGG from launching full-scale attacks on Iliad...

Quazi will be next. Ask arminius to make a list on Morkins front page and put quazi on the "Hit List". These will be players that acted against us during the war.
EDIT: I think he renamed the island...."Property of Digg (33:66:16)"

Aspen said it was sorted now, and he even paid some compensation himself. But I'll put a note about a hit list on our profile.

Bit of a long story here, but some of the "cloak and dagger" types might enjoy it. i.e., Ashimar Quazi took over-colo'd Nougat, as you know. He claimed he cleared 400 stoners (DIGG spy reports never showed them, but there's always a chance they were slipped in there at some point). Nougat went to retake the isle, and ran into 1500 Quazi stoners, losing a coloship on the isle. So I dropped a note to Pain, on a personal level, asking him what Iliad's agenda was, and letting him know the path Iliad was putting themselves on. DIGG has known of an Iliad spy in our forums. We figure it is better to allow (and manipulate) a spy we know, rather than snuff him out immediately - it is the spy you don't know about that can do you harm, right? So I raised the alarm in DIGG about 10 hours ago. The announcement went out: "Begin immediate evaluation of all Iliad targets. NO SPIES!". References were "accidentally" made in some of the forums that the spy has access to, and quickly "moved" after it was confirmed the spy read them, and DIGG "tried to fix the mistake of having them at such a low level of classification". This coincided with Phil299's "24 notice" to Aspen that Iliad would be forced to answer for walking into a war zone and fortifying sniped islands. Within 1 hour of the spy reading the "accidentally" declassified references to Iliad target evaluation, Aspen backed down from the isle, and has offered to personally reimburse Nougat for the lost coloship. Nougat informed him that Iliad bears the burden of removing the stoners in a timely manner (i.e., killing them rather than waiting weeks for the island to be capable of shipping off 600+ remaining stoners). So between the "personal note" to Pain, Phil299's "24 hour notice", and the "accidental leak" in our low-classification forums, Iliad has been shown that DIGG is taking dire notice of the sniping. We expect it to stop. All eyes back on suicide fleets to o3 for Morkin to make gains, now.

Recent "State of the Alliance" published on DIGG's forums...
"Ladies and Gentlemen of DIGG.
For the past month, all of IK has been watching the state of DIGG, and I am proud to report that it is strong.
We have weathered everything our enemies could throw at us, and we remain standing tall and proud. We have suffered casualties - many Purple Hearts have been awarded. But we have inflicted even greater casualties upon our enemies.
Doku and Boston/IK_Nuke have climbed to the #1-2 ranks. l3x-x has falled from 300+ islands to below 200. Dr_eam has fallen from the Top 10 to the Top 150. Observer has fallen from the Top 10. Phoenix has been battered. MX has utterly disappeared, running heavily to Iliad after taking severe pounding. Meanwhile, DIGG continues it's drive to 5,000,000 points. Morkin has emerged as our dearest friends. Angel has been fighting alongside us since Day 1. VALOR has proven it's battle fortitude. DUGG and ACES have demonstrated our goodwill towards them has not gone without reciprocation.
We have taken everything Phoenix, MX, and H|F could throw at us, and brushed it off, disposing of the former 2, and forcing the latter into a ceasefire.
Our Morkin friends have taken a fierce offensive in the old waters, and DIGG stoners have stabilized and secured their strongholds.
The DIGG march into o3 has commenced, and we are dealing vicious blows to the E|S homeland.
But the fight is not over. Over 250k stonethrowers remain at rapid-drop points poised on the outskirts of o3, to support new DIGG/Morkin colonies there, as well as to chew up E|S fleets.
Phoenix, MX, and H|F have left the fight, and E|S now stands alone. Give me two more weeks of hard fighting, and they will be broken, PEACE again restored to our waters.
There are still challenges on the horizon. -Iliad- has shown it's hand as unapologetic vultures, committing numerous injustices against DIGGers. Heavy noted has been taken of their crimes, and justice will be brought upon their shores in due time.
Our priorities remain fixed: the mop-up of E|S colonies in outlying waters, and the penetration of their homeland.
Stand proud, DIGG. We have once again defied the odds, and the naysayers, and victory is at hand. Remain vigilant, DIGG. The fighting is not over.
There has been some recent turnover in the Senior Staff, which is completely comparable to peacetime turnover rates. Many "battlefield promotions" have taken place, and they will be reviewed upon the defeat of E|S to ensure that DIGG remains fundamentally democratic - both DIGGlets and Staffers alike have seen over a dozen such battlefield promotions.
Awards have been completed for the Phoenix campaign, and "appeals" will be opened at the conclusion of the E|S campaign to redress those who may have been overlooked - I know there are a few.
Many DIGGers have stepped up to the plate and demonstrated their brilliance, resolve, and loyalty to this thing we call DIGG. Some have shirked their responsibilities, and attempted to lay low in the war, exposing themselves as leeches - likewise, they will receive proper "acknowledgement" upon completion of the E|S campaign.
In conclusion, it is a good month for DIGG, and the following month will see continued glory. Two more weeks of hard fighting, gentlemen, and all who play IK, and all those who will ever play IK, will tell tales of our dominance."

1. Spies, spies, spies galore! Iliad is spying the hell out of DIGG right now.
Word on the street is a declaration of war / first strike from them is imminent.

I'm not sure what our overall position on this is but I'm sure we could divert some of our resources to aiding you against Iliad.

We can handle them fine. It just may mean less stoners heading into o3.

I suggest you flatten Aspen first the rest of the alliance should fall pretty quickly after that.

1. l3x-x asking for a Peace Treaty and cessation in hostilities. 2. Pain has offered to mediate. DIGG will not be accepting a peace that is not unilateral. We will not leave Morkin-VALOR-Angel hanging out to dry against E|S. I hope to be talking with Morkin admins over the next 24 hours about what direction they want to go with this. digital; o14 is a DIGG stronghold that has been too-long without targets. Aspen will be cleaned out within 5 days.

Haha, I'm amazed at digg, I honestly thought that digg would lack the organisation to pull of stuff like this but I'm pleased to admit that I was wrong.
Good luck Aspen hunting!

DIGG: Consistently under-estimated, consistently victorious Morkin has been good mentors, and friends. Don't sell yourselves short. Your tutoring in the early days as certainly not been forgotten - and hopefully, paid dividends on your end.
