In the light of the current rumours (about us and Pantheon about to go to war), should we set up a peace treaty with them? It'd just to confirm that these are simply rumours.

The first part of the U-Turn has started. I'm not going to numbered all the why's and why nots. Read the forum. As of today we will drop the Pact we have with DIGG. The following will be posted in the IK Forum after we inform DIGG frist: It is a regrettable event to part ways with friends, even if only in a mere free online game. Morkin has held a special place in their hearts for DIGG that dates back to DIGG inception. We remember fondly extending our protection to them in their formative months, and watching proudly as they have come to emerge as a legitimate, competent, and virtuous alliance. We were proud to see them perform well in the Great War, eager to come to their aid when it seemed every alliance in the Top 10 was taking turns attacking them. We lost many fleets in vicious old-ocean fighting, but we were privileged to show our DIGG friends that our respect for the relationship was more important than mere warships. However, it has come to pass that Morkin must severe the Pact with DIGG. This is done with a heavy heart and hopes that our longstanding bond will neither be forgotten nor lamented. Recent events have demonstrated that DIGG senior leadership, unfortunately, does not reciprocate our relationship as equals. Being told that DIGG Admins were "pulling rank" and talking down to us as a father would scold a child is simply not the way equals conduct business, and this has been a slap in the face that forces us to reconsider the nature of our relationship. We bid DIGG only the finest continued success in the future, and aside from some regrettable insults that were made leading to this impasse, hope that DIGG will remember who was there for them in their Darkest Hour, and who now sits quietly, reclusively, in the corners of this server and wishes them only the best of fortunes. It's of utmost importance that no one talks to anyone on this matter until its out in the public forum. Thanks

Might want to post that up in the KoM section once it has gone on the public forum; wouldn't want them to be behind with the news

Well put mate.
Sol posted on the internals aswell the Pantheon have also dropped their pact with Digg.
Maybe they were waiting for us to move aside and the peace treaty we offered has given them a bit of room to begin attacking Digg in the near future.

Thats not good at all. Wonder what the reasoning for lowering the PACT to a PT with pantheon was.
Am I to remove the Pact with Luxor and Digg?

Luxor has already changed it to a PT. DIGG still has Luxor listed as a pact.

They're acting out of emotion, and are losing the initiative in events. They've lost a handle, and the actions of others are now controlling their response, rather than remaining cool and collected.
I'm getting IGM's from many of their rank-and-file asking what's up, and there's absolute undertones of panic.
