Pacts and Peace treaties

Ok, as the 'head of diplomacy' I think discussion of pacts and peace treaties would be productive.

In my opinion, Morkin's number of pacts/peace treaties gives the impression that Morkin are afraid or unwilling to go to war. Obviously Morkin's reputation precedes them but nonetheless I feel it is detrimental to the alliance. Personally, I would remove all but the 'related alliances'. My view is slightly insular because I have had little contact with the other alliances we're are associated with.

Anyway, what do you guys think?

Personally I'd say we just show Morkin and Corleth, they are our main 'relations', what they do we do and visa versa!

Morkin is basically a peaceful alliance, we only fight if we feel justified in doing so, but when that happens, do we fight!

The few pacts is down to the fact we only pact with alliances we feel we know very well, when we make a pact we are very serious about it and will usually go to war for the pact where we feel it is justified. That's why we had to cancel our pact with TRS when they were talking about war with Orc as we wouldn't have felt comfortable supporting TRS against Orc, the inital pact was made mainly due to relations with Croix Noire who no longer plays IK.com

My idea on the other forum was really for an announcement thread on here, so that any time a pact/treaty is formed or changed it just lets us know, I dont really mind who we have treaty's with, because im not attacking active players anyway! but i thought an announcement and maybe a little background info on who they are and why we have a treaty with them could be a good idea!
