I have 35 processes running all of which are taking up a minimal amount of memory (apart from Firefox and Azureus).

Also just to prove that good web sense is all the protection you need, I don't run a Virus Checker and I'm using the default Microsoft Firewall. I swore to all the gods that I was never going to install Norton again.

Go on and read it through to get the general idea at first.

If you change something, don't change anything else in a while (few days). That way you can keep track of things. If something stops functioning, undo what you did last.
