One of the possibilities that I was considering was providing enhanced guidance in certain conditions. By enhanced I mean that instead of just getting "Seeking for JeanYves, you should look for him at the Citadel of Shimeril", you might get limited info on his army perhaps. Or, more controversially: "Seeking for JeanYves, you should look for him at the Citadel of Shimeril. Yesterday, he moved East and slightly North." This would provide much richer info. To counter this, the enemy would need to make feints and dummy runs to confuse you. It's relatively easy to do (needs 2 new fields per lord record) plus some logic added to the seeking code). But, if people like the idea, (and I imagine that not everyone will ), what conditions should allow a lord to get this enhanced info. Gold? Courage? Race?

It's a good one. No special rules needed for getting this additional info, as alternative uses of lords must be encouraged IMHO.

General army info would be useful too. Something like: Looking for Ringthane you... Ringthane has an army of 2100 men (and a few hundred targ women to keep him happy during nighttime ;D).
No army type info or status, just total number.

But, if people like the idea, (and I imagine that not everyone will ), what conditions should allow a lord to get this enhanced info. Gold? Courage? Race? Kingship! Like I would like that having an active king that would add some bonus to armies, when actively fighting, this kind of information should only be available to kings. That would give players the choice of moving their king out of any citadel and their bodyguard to spend the time searching instead. I mean, if you really want to implement this change, it should come for a price
