How about auto refresh on "my games" web pages. This would allow the status of your games to change while still on that page... maybe set to 5 minute intervals or something like that.

The only real reason that I have not done that to date is that I don't actually know how much bandwidth I am allowed at UK Linux, so I try to minimise page hits wherever possible. But I suppose there's only one way to find out!
Probably more than a mere 5 minutes though.

Stealing each others garrisons could be soo much fun. I had a few games where I managed to sneak a couple of lords into Doom Square and suddenly had 5000 soldiers in my opponent's rear

I had a few games where I managed to sneak a couple of lords into Doom Square and suddenly had 5000 soldiers in my opponent's rear Agreed, but I think it should: (a) cost a lot of money (b) be subject to failure, with the infiltrator risking either being killed or losing his money if he is unlucky, or else getting away scott free if he is lucky.
