Just so you know:
En route from Fawkrin [001:02:4:11] to Planet 001:02:4:24 [001:02:4:24] to colonise the planet. ETA 5
So we don't try to colonise the same planets.

Actually, I did just try to colonize that planet by accident, and it wouldn't let me: "Already subject to colonization orders", apparently.
I'm heading for [001:02:4:25] instead!

Planets about to be colonised appear with a different border, and are not available for colonization - makes a change from the mad rush of IK !

Hint for would-be colonizers:
The planet you colonize might be very short on key resources like aluminium/silica, so make sure your genesis ship carries enough resources to at least build a landing pad (and make sure you've researched a landing pad!).
Whilst a colony ship can take off with a load of resources (and land with them, of course), no other transport ship can even load resources without a landing pad.
My new planet (Wayreth) is so short of aluminium that I had to wait two days before I even had enough to build a landing pad, because I hadn't thought carefully enough about what to put in the Genesis ship.

We also agreed that anyone without geoprobe should ask for help from others so that colonization is not attempted blindly.
So, if you need to colonize a planet, ask for probing the planet. Scanners should post gathered info in Intelligence thread, so planets are not probed twice.

What's the crack with planet 20 in the Midnight quadrant? Why is it abandoned? Would anyone mind if I colonied it in about 5 hours?

Planet 20 has -99% and -98% of Al and Si. Therefore I abandoned it.

Most planets in 01:02:04 have such deviations.
I have compiled a reference excel file. Igor, can I send it to you so that you can upload it here for reference?
