The resource breakdown seems to be only for hulls (Si, Al, Fe, etc. columns). I really don't understand what you mean. Can you elaborate, please?

You have: Si 500, Al 200, Ur 100 - but those are only hull requirements, the ship has also 2 lasers for Si 300, Al 200, Ur 100, Ka 100, so total mineral cost breakdown should be Si 800, Al 400, Ur 200, Ka 100.

True. But in the very first column you have total resources per ship and "ship rsrc" and "weap rsrc" give you total amount of resources for each class. But you are right - maybe I should have put total amount of individual resource as well.

I would find it handy for deciding what sort of ship to build based on resources available on planet - say, when my plutonium drops low, I'd want to build ships that require less of it, so that it's level climbs in proportion to other resources.

Just a reminder for the stupid people like me:
When sending ships to help a planet which is under attack, use the "defend" option and not "go to". If you do "go to" by accident, once you arrive you can't then change to "defend" without going to another planet first!
