I think the 2 and 3 ship attacks may be pirates. And I think that may be who leeched me. I got a system error when trying to intercept a fleet heading to Mads. I reported it, and it was apparently because I didn't have the planet of origins coordinates. But the interesting thing is, Athena's reply was that the "?","?" etc flags mean that its a system ship. Therefore my deduction that its the yo ho ho ho boys. Could be mighty wrong of course!

Using latest raider info, I made some calculations and came up with these figures for Raider fleets:
for scores 75,000 - 299,999: 2 - 7 Vampires for scores 300,000 - 499,999: 7 - 11 Vampires, 60 - 100 Spirits, 45 - 75 fighters* or 72 - 120 Adders
*based on average fighter value (125+150+175+200+250+300)/6
So, be careful about these figures. They are theoretical, but still...
This is the actual math, really simple:
Vampires: (score * 0,02) / 900 Spirits: (score * 0,02) / 150 Fighters: (score * 0,02) / figther_average_see_above

Just so we're all absolutely clear what are the best precautions to ensure that Vampires are picked up and swatted, even if the player isn't at the keyboard?
Suggestions
Neutron Towers Disruptor Towers
Correct? What else?
I think we need to get this sorted as more attacks from Raiders will happen and Gareth sprung a nasty resource leak yesterday.

Come on, people, RTFM! No PDS can destroy neither freighters nor transports. Disruptor towers can freeze them, but you still must have a fleet in orbit to kill them. Neutron blasters can kill fighters, frigates and corvettes. Electron beams can kill flagships, destroyers and cruisers. Proton beams can kill cruisers, battlehips and carriers. So, you have to have all tower variants to effectively defend against mixed fleets.

Oh, and by the way, you must have ships in planetary orbit, not in a fleet orbiting a planet. Remember that, or you'll end up like me, losing few thousands of resources needlessly.
