Abuse or tactic
It appears a player can abandon a planet and then re-colonise it themselves with a genesis ship from (home planet) prepositioned at the planet.
The planet is then under protection for five days and the player has lost nothing from the planet.
Ground forces remain intact
Buildings need to be powered up
Factories need to be regrouped
Resources and weapons stocks remain
Should the same player be able to abandon and recolonise the same planet?
I realise that there are legitimate reasons why you may want to do this i.e. A badly loaded genesis ship - but this is abuse of the system in my opinion
