Hello Alliance of Morkin,
I am Eberry, or Jesse in real life, and you may consider me a concerned member of my alliance; SALISH. As you probably already know, there has bee an on-going “situation” between my alliance and the Alliance of E and M.
I, along with many others, including 3rd party observers with no take in this war, consider what is happening a severe instance of “bullying”, where a much larger alliance is threatening us, a much smaller alliance, and are preparing to slaughter us within the next few weeks. So, I thought I would go to the alliance that is often described as the people who “stand up for the little guy” and present my alliance’s case.
Throughout all this ordeal and struggle which is characteristic of our age, you will find in SALISH good comrades to whom you are united by other ties besides those of State policy and public need. To a large extent, they are the ties of friendship and peace. I therefore preach continually the doctrine of the fraternal association of our two peoples, not for any purpose of gaining invidious material advantages for either of them, not for territorial aggrandisement or the vain pomp of earthly domination, but for the sake of service to mankind and for the honour that comes to those who faithfully serve great causes,; like wars that are fought for an actual cause, and more importantly: Peace.
So, I bid you, that a true test of an alliance’s character is not when they themselvesf is in mortal danger and must act, but a true test of an alliance’s character is when they must decide whether to help their friends who are in mortal danger (SALISH), or to leave them to die at the hands of another (E and M).
We are in need of help.

I just got informed, dunno if bomber has filled you in. It's all to do with Leoon encouraging attacks upon E||M (it was publicised on the forum) We quickly reduced it to leoon specifically, after it seamed Salish did not know of leoons actions (it would be unfair to target the alliance, when it was simply a rogue's actions. Leoon is an admin, so i'm sure you can understand why we were skeptical of Salish, admins tend to represent there alliance, rather than themselves personally.)

Salish will not be attacked unless they get themselves involved, we currently suspect that some Salish players have been sending stonies to Leoon (and therefore involved)

We will treat it as on an individual basis, and unless we can find out whoes helping, we can't target that player.

I would also like to ask you not to become involved, i've had a big arguement with Digg over them trying to Police, however you came in a more open manner, i suspect you are considering telling us we are the villains?

The short thing is, Leoon supported attacks and indirectly attacked us. As an ex-Morkin (and im sure you are still very much part of the group) you would only do the same, protect your alliance.

Thanks for this summary. No, we're not about to call you villains... far from it. We received a request for help from a member of Salish who said you threatened them, so I just wanted to hear your side of the story. But after your description of the situation I see no reason for Morkin to get involved.

We're not the IK Police, but due to our history on the UK server we feel a certain sympathy for smaller players/alliances who are targeted by bigger ones for no particular reason.

I wrote to you seeking help for my alliance, which has done nothing deserving these hostilities against us.
They have thrown many reasons out there, but let me clear this up.
This is a land grab, a clearing of isles for E||M to get stronger...check out smallmerchantship.com and type in leoonadmirals name, along with the alliance of E||M...Take a second to do so...
After looking at that..you can probably see why Leoonadmirals has been targeted...he is an easy person to pick on. Reason:
He has many isles..but against the force of all the E||M players, he stands absolutely no chance.
He is in an alliance where very few can really fight, there are 3 notable players in the alliance, all are administrators and are the nicest, and most peaceful people i have met.
SALISH is not being attacked because we did something to them, we are being attacked because we are there, and a easy alliance to pick on.

This war is unjustafiable, and as such, i believed i could get help for my alliance from thos who are often called "The anti-bully alliance" and are said to "look out for the little guy".
We are the little guy and we are being bullied.

They may try to cover this war up with smoke screens of Leoonadmirals did this, and Leoonadmirals did that, ect..
But all of us truly know what this is....averice, averice in every right.

The only thing that will come from this war is The death of some of the nicest and most peaceful people ever to play Inselkampf, along with the growth of E||M.
If they are willing to do this to us, don't you think that, if they were bigger than you (as a combined Morkin Unit) or ever become bigger than you, they will attempt the same thing?

Hmm it doesn't seem cleared up from what eberry has said.

According to E||M they are not attacking Salish.

Unfortunately things are rather busy on our side, however we will come back to this if needed.

however, it seems their first attack will land in about 6 hours ( a tad under that now).

I will leave this to your judgement, they supposedly said things were all resolved..but now there is an attack inbound.

A sure sign of deception, saying you will do one thing, then doing another.

Maybe you misunderstood, Jesse. From what I understood, Salish is going to be left alone and only Leo will be targeted for whatever he did. Only when other Salish members involve themselves will they be attacked. They've been quite clear about it to me in all my conversations with them, as you and I have discussed.

Should that not apply to every decent alliance?

I think yes on both parts...an attack on one member (whether it be leoonadmirals or myself) is an attack on SALISH itself.

And keep in mind this is even a bigger bullying act if you isolate leoonadmirals, now it is a big alliance versus a small to medium player, not just a big alliance versus a very small alliance.

E||M offers that they kill McGoogus (for his islands, but they cover it up with obviously false reasons), and that you should all sit back and watch, and not do a thing.

I'm just a washed up old has-been who randomly frequents these forums now to keep in touch with a few friends, so take my words with a grain of salt.

But I say you give them Hell. Dig in your heels and punch them in the nose. Bloody their nose. Make them realize that Salish, while much smaller and possibly militarily weaker, is tenacious and competent.

If they want to target Leon, have everyone else begin producing stoners 24/7, and send them to him. Have a few trusted friends of his help sit his account so that it is covered at all hours of the day, and fleetsaves/stonerdrops can be executed with precision.

Show E||M that, after a few bloody isles, Leon nor Salish are easy prey.

But like I said, I don't play anymore, just here to keep in contact with many good friends. I certainly don't speak in any official capacity, and chalk this up to the ramblings of an old man

Though i do not persoally know you, i have heard of you, and most of what i hear was you being a great player, i will take your word with far more than a grain of salt.
But even if we did this, we would be slaughtered.
