It's a little difficult to keep spys/scouts alive as you only need to move near one to spot them, rather than actually having to look. It's like having a permanent spy detector.
Can I suggest removing: "Messages: There are 3 enemies nearby." type messages? or Give lords without armies the ability to hide.

I think the spy system works rather well at the resent, with a good balance between the risks of being caught and the benefits of getting information. I agree, except for dragons. I feel like I'm cheating when I use them. They can go so far, it's easy to just hop a few squares away from the cluster you're spying on and they never find you. I like the way that dragons have increased range - that's good. But their range seems a little too great for me. Or do dragons have some other prpose of which I am as yet unaware? (E.g. destroying the ice crown? Oh no, that's the skulkrin's job)

You remember, the Ice Crown, that Doomdark uses to cast shill into the hearts of all the nice free lords and children in Corelay, and squirrels and everything. Like the Moon Ring, but bad.
