I'm selling my account, please let your alliances is know.

In the first round I'm offering it to alliances which have players that I have had good ties with in the past.

Make offers in UK £'s.
any time wasters will be attacked.

I've 140+ islands, all in ocean 4,
I only ever built 1 statue (on my main)
I have amongst the biggest fleets in Wraith, have a large reserve of stone throwers for mobile defence.

Lets just say my army was big enough to take out all of McPetes attacking islands in 24 hours and a week later I took raul's (aka BerlinerMC) attacking army out in 2 days.

The only damage I took was Main Attack fleet reduced to 60% of its size - (still big enough to clear & colonise islands)

basically I'm an army player (I only partially develop my islands - so I can build an army, not score)

In a way it would be fun to have that big an account on our side, but consider the trouble. Also, I'm guessing that someone will be looking for easy prey once the original owner has left.

Yep I agree, I wonder if the IK designer knows about it or is bothered that someone is making money out of his game when he provides it "free".

If he wanted to make money, he should offer that people can buy isles or stuff inside the game for reallife money. Then some newbie player with tons of money could start the game with 10 heavily armed isles, just by paying for it.

Not that it would become a better game that way, but Sven might make a few bucks here and there.

Well, people are selling cats on ebay, and have done so for a while... Apparently there's quite an industry in playing games for other people. Kind of taking the initial boring phase out. You pay someone to play IK for you until you've got 10 colonies. I think there are several companies employing people in Romania doing just that.

Obviously not with IK, but with those other multi-player on-line games.

I mentioned on the in-game forum that the latest offer seems to be 200 quid, btw.

When you think of the amount of time it must have taken to build up that account,£200 isn't much of a return. He'd probably be better off knitting aran jumpers.

True, but people don't play IK as a job, I thought the point of it was to have fun and not to earn money.

If I had created IK and let people play for free then I wouldn't be pleased about this type of transaction.

It looks like several people are selling out at the moment. The original_eyes account is for sale, but if it's the player we encountered back before TaL, I seriously doubt.

Maybe we should start creating extra accounts just to delete them again, to produce more isles to colonise for our real accounts. Knowing the location of upcoming free isles should be a great advantage, however much cheating that is.
