I don't think there really was an insult as such.

When Verith messaged me something like "You see, I'm the real Carol Benoit.." I amy have answered something like "I don't care anymore!"

I seem to recall him calling Natmus an arsehole many times. Sounds like a good enough reason to attack him on it's own.

Verith has contacted me directly, and she has asked whether we can calm things down. She is very upsaet about the way things have become personalised (I pointed out that this is a two-way thing!).

However, it seems that if I can calm the waters, we may avoid being attacked by [hawk]'s big buddies, and we can go after our other list of targets.

What say you?

Well more or less, I think that we can say we've settled the score with DL and PF has certainly been chastised somewhat.

Well, I've been trying to calm things down behind the scenes. Now that I'm standing in for Natmus until he comes back from his island holiday I think that both Marios and I feel the same way about things.

I just want to know if that is everybody's opinion, hence the poll.

But in the meantime everyone should concentrate on their walls and spearmen just in case, and if anyone attacks any of us then the entire Alliance immediately attacks them with everything we've got.

Our general stance from now on should be "Morkin will be friends with anyone and prefers peace, but mess with one of us and you mess with all"

Yes. I'm not saying we should disband our fleets. And if attacked we will of course fight back. In the meantime we'll have a look at the list of our true enemies.

I don't want any battle's yet, as we are still small fry, especially since the 'Hawk' alliance is starting to crumble. We can be a massive alliance in our own right, but for now instead of starting trouble we need to build up quietly so we become massive and then attack all those who have wronged us, when we have a chance of winning. This whole thing has had a bad after taste. Alicat is my g/f in real life. Sheldon came onto her in IM and I called him on it. He was not happy about that. His wife is a bit nieve, she thinks he is faithful to her, and when he hit on my g/f i knew this wasnt the case. I am willing to bet, the reason for his actions covering DL's a$$ is because he is having an affair with her. I cannot prove this, so please do NOT quote me on it. However, with my dealings with PF, he never was wrong even when caught in a lie. If caught he would just go silent or change the subject completely. Long story short, he thinks he can do whatever he wants to. So when he meets people like me who can see through the smoke for what he really is, he doesnt like it.

I myself am a Christian, I see things in a much different life. I have seen both sides of the fence of what I believe. I call a spade a spade. You and Morkin have no need to apologize for your actions.

I completely agree with them. You made the right choice. As far as I am concerned, you should grind him into dust and make him have only 1 point again. He needs to be taught a lesson.

Yes it is unfortunate that Carol is getting hurt by this, however, she needed to have this happen. She is so delusional in protecting Sheldon, and putting so much energy in protecting him, the stuff he is doing is going on completely unnoticed even though its right before her eyes. Do not lament over her, she will rise again stronger. She has to hit bottom before she looks up.

I understand the fusterations, and that is the same way i felt with theEarl when he tried to colonize one of mine, i would have shelled it into oblivion so he would have had to rebuild it. People are just to lazy at times. The fact that "darklady" told them to take them tells me its very possible that sheldon was indeed DL and wanted to help the hawk alliance, its not really their fault.

It is hard to explain this to someone who most likely hasn't gone through what we feel we have gone through, but I will try anyway: I feel, and with me many Morkins save perhaps a few, that everything touched by DL is "tainted" and admittedly we have gotten somewhat paranoid to anyone having or wanting to have something to do with DarkLady or what is left of her. In this case certain colonies.
That means we have issues with Hawk people trying to take them over. As far as I'm concerned you can take any isle you want (if you can), except those.

One of our members was supposed to colonize the isle but then Lord_of_Chaos colonized it. That was a pity but we could live with that. Yesterday you took it from him and sorry to say some of us can't live with that. All would have been okay between you and some of us if you hadn't done that colonization. Therefore I have in a momentary "attack of the vapours" state of mind launched attacks on the remaining infrastructure of the colony you now hold and another Morkin is going to take it over.
