Arminius left Morkin. I suggest you block his account after today, but don't delete it. He may still come to his senses.

Why would you quit? If I understand correctly there was some (minor) misunderstanding between Oliver and Fernando, nothing more. He decided to abandon us because of that. You don't have to be like him.

Never knew him very well execpt i think he was a solid admin and did everything precisely. We need men like that?
Why to leave, why not argue openly?

Yeah, that's what bothers me also. There were no harsh words on the forum at all.

I think Oliver left just because of the actions of namely Perun, Ringthane and Ashimar (in no particular order). He felt they were acting outside of what we had agreed were our goals, and dragging the alliance into an area where we haven't been before, that of aggressors of people who don't deserve it.
But, but, but it's not like he is burning any bridges, he needs some time outside Morkin to think things over, and see how things develop inside Morkin.
As for my own views, I think that any continued Morkin alliance needs a new kind of command structure, and fire discipline where a few loose guns can destroy the diplomatic web that elected diplomats and admins are trying to create.
As Igor said, he were in a war, but I doubt that private soldiers went around doing what they felt like it, whenever they disagreed with their officers.

What have I done? I can understand that Oliver was upset by my words (that was my intention), but I haven't attacked anyone. Or said anything to anyone outside the alliance.

Well, words are somewhat actions as well. And unfortunately they came at a time when most Morkins were silent, and a few vocal ones did the talking, so I got the wrong impression that there was no support for my point of view. It was just like walking through treacle, and I thought it was futile to continue. In order to put things right I needed to confront a few people, which I didn't want to do, as I thought it would ruin relationships. And this game isn't worth that. It was also late evening, and I was tired and getting depressed by all this. I think I did try to explain why I left, and I hung around for about an hour to discuss matters before I actually did go. I sometimes have a tendency for extreme reactions, but things usually work out well because of that. And I wrote about being able to look in the mirror because I didn't swallow things, I didn't run away, I walked out. I'm sorry if I have offended people by this, but the multi-hypocrisy was getting too much for me. Moral principles are apparently the most important thing that distinguishes us from DL and PF, but we've given ours up when Marc took over Colm's account. Multi-Hunters? We should not have touched it, but should have deleted it asap. And this is what we should do now. We're playing this game not for winning, but for enjoying it. And no cheating. The other thing was the level of discourse with hawk. Others already mentioned it: most of them are decent people, some of whom have been seriously affected by these events. I believe it is despiccable to go around insulting them. And I was fed up with having to apologise for other people's words. Some of the hawks I've been in touch with thanked me for bringing the discussion back to a civilised level. Enough of this paranoid tit-for-tat.
