Thanks guys ! We already know it's going to be a girl. Always hoped to have at least one daughter, so more than happy already. Btw, this fact stands entirely separate from us having gotten married earlier this year although we did know it then already. It's amazing howmany people immediately but wrongly assume there is a link between those two facts.

Reisling arrived safe and sound! Dank u, u oude piraat! ;D
Will sample it tonight, hopefully, after it's had a chance to chill a while. I will try to get you a bottle of white from the local vinyard across the valley - no idea what grapes they cultivate, so it could be good or bad!

Reisling arrived safe and sound! Shurely 'Riesling'? Or is it rice wine? Why does everybody seem to have problems with 'ie' vs 'ei'? Eg 'blitzkreig', or numerous other examples which escape me at the moment... I'm curious

I tell you what, you call it what you like, and I'll drink it, ok? I studied at Trier (Moselle), which is a Riesling area. But I prefer beer or red wine. Trier is next to Bitburg, where there is a very good brewery. So yes, you drink it. Cheers! A votre sainte! Apologies to Ashimar for polluting his thread!

What? Are you multiplying? What month are she carrying? Little Tullius calfs! CutiCutiCuuu! Are they (i know for sure there's twins coming) initiated here in Finland? No, initiated in Luxembourg for sure, sorry ! ;D And we know for certain it will only one, a daughter. Well, this time at least. Why did you move to Punkalaidun ? No "liqued" shop, no lake, some distance from Helsinki/Turku, so why ? When I'm in Osara (between Hameenkyro/Kyroskoski + Ikaalinen on Kyrosjarvi) I quite frankly want to go home. It's nothing personal, but I really hate it when I want to buy something or go somewhere and they say: only in Tampere/Helsinki or they give me a choice of none or only 3. And there I alwas need to bring my own car (requires horrific boat!) or wat until the family in law can take me which makes me insufferably dependant. But we do own a summercottage with electricity and springwater (that's frozen 2/3rd of the year though). Do you have a (family) summercottage ?
