Building spearfighters does that. Since I started building them on my new colony I've had too much lumber.

Hi! I'm a member of [Serenity], and was wondering whether anyone in your alliance could use 15,000 lumber or 400 stone throwers. Gold is always useful, but a straight-up trade for catapults would do quite nicely as well.

I'll trade 6,000 lumber or 140 stone throwers per catapult, or the standard 3 gold for 2 lumber and 65 gold per thrower. Thanks!

Mjeeee, I don't know. It seems to me that lumber is traded around 1:1 for gold on the opne market these days.
