You seem to have the NE sewn up old boy. Nothing left for my scavengers. I hope to surprise you elsewhere though. Damn those Targ are fast!

I fear things will run their course as per normal for me.
I ride forth full of hope and good cheer only to find everybody has buggered off when I pop round for a cup of tea and a spot of recruitment.
Hope quickly turns to despair, good cheer quickly turns into a gaping flesh wound and my campaign subsequently ends in an expanding pool of faintly steaming carmine liquid.
Ah well! Bring it on at least I intend to die well....

Don't be so pessimistic - I might be bluffing You beat me to Dreams when I was sure that it was mine for the taking. Admittedly that means you probably started near Dreams and so you had quite a journey around the Ithril range to get South, but the Valethor/Gorgrath passes ain't quick either!

There's a fine line twixt pessimism and realism I'll warrant good sir.
Still....the game I've enjoyed the most thus far (one I'm currently almost done for with Mr S. Bait) I could never really hope to win given my Lord count....I seem to have a bit of a romantic penchant for doomed and lost causes.
Like in "The Last Samurai" it's not in the winning, it's in how you account for yourself....
Dreams was the first chap I rallied by the way.

Dreams was the first chap I rallied by the way. Then we must have started really close. I think that Plainsman was my first recruit.

I wondered how you got there so fast. I started at the western edge of Dreams so we could potentially have been merely a days ride from each other......
The race is on for the Southern Lords.......
