One: like the good old original a screen at the beginning of your turn telling where there have been fighting the last night. When you have a lot of lords it's time consuming having them all think each day, just to check. Two: Bundled armies for faster movement of groups of armies. Obviously the bundle would have the pace of the slowest army in the bunch. Both suggestions would save some time in large games, especially these hit-and-run one-on-ones. Zut! My login ran out as I was typing this message first time around. Anyway, to recap: One: Easy to do at *location* level , e.g. "The bloody hand of battle brings death to a Keep in the Domain of Ithril", but I can't easily do an original Spectrum look-alike screen as there is no Domain table in MU at present. So you could not get the more vague fog-of-war type message "...in the Domain of Ithril". But if everyone is ok with this (Wayne had already requested this vie email), I will do it. Easy peasy! Two: More complicated. Much more complicated. Luckily, I have used quite a bit of Object Oriented design in MU (from the days when I built financial systems in London!), so I may be able to apply those techniques to achieve this. Will look into it. It's actually probably easier to do than "Follow". But we need rules. Eg. what happens if one member is exhausted. Is he automatically left behind or "ungrouped"?
