In its first incarnation, MMUScEd will be able to: - generate random maps (like lomrmex)
- generate maps from heightmaps (like mesced)
- preview terrain (like lomscape)
- save and load maps and their images
- paint maps with selected terrain
- edit location descriptions (I need help here - usability suggestions appreciated)
More features will be added in future releases and based on popularity of both M/MU and MMUScEd. Any suggestion/feature request/criticism appreciated.

I was going to have a stab at a similar tool written in MS Access. As you're doing it yourself, I'll hold off now and let you do all the hard work Here's how I saw it. Left hand 3/4 of screen filled with map icons. Right hand side a Terrain Palette, with all the available icons, so that you can overwrite any terrain that you want to adjust. Also on RHS, two fields: Current Domain, and Overwrite Location Description. So, say you want to do a whole area as " Darkness". You would enter Darkness in the Domain field, and select all the locations in the LHS (if possible with multi-select using SHIFT and/or CTRL). All of these become generic Darkness domain locations, eg "The Plains of Darkness", "The Downs of Darkness", "A tower in the Domain of Darkness", etc. Now say you have a citadel there and you want to call it " Darkwatch". Click on it in LHS, enter " Darkwatch" in RHS and click "Apply". This location now has a new unique description. Needs a little more though so that you don't overwrite already overwritten descriptions with defaults maybe, but that's the main idea. But of course it's just one idea, you do it how you feel best
