I'm going to ask him for 90k gold, if I get that I'll be happy enough, if not do we dig our heels in even if it means war?

My feelings is mixed. If you can work it out peacefully, I'm all okay with that.
But if you want to fight, I'm going to be behind you all the way as well, either in a limited action or in a full scale doomsday war.
Short version: it's your isle, and I'll follow your lead.

OK. I'm happy if he gives me 90k gold for it, even 70k would be acceptable, but I wont take less than that.

He's accepted 90k without any bartering, even better he's letting me have time to build some ships to get my 450 stonies off.
So I'm pleased with the deal, I can build 3 more col ships almost with the cash and it's not like new isles aren't appearing (the tsunami seems to be quite good in my area).

Perhaps it's not that high a price, considering that 90k gold is the production of 12 days of a level 20 gold mine. In a month the investment will be in the black, given around a week to get the gold mine to lvl 20.
But then again, if the 90 gold buys colony ships that takes, say, 2 new isles, that's an even better use of the gold, I agree.

She just took the isle Frei had taken from Freedom, the one with a level 19 statue. I have sent Shendemiar's fleet for now, and will resend it until the isle is razed.
Should we go to full war against her while the truce last? She is not included by it, and she has annoyed me on several occasions, and been warned a week ago.
