I Suggest a general principle of versatility.
As many as possible of the suggestions that get developed, should be implemented as an option. Nobody likes everything, so when a game is created all possible should be optional, to creator to include, or to left out.

Will consider this too, whenever applicable - problem is that it adds to the workload, as I have to change the databse as well as the code (to hold on/off flags for each option), and also I have to add the options to the front end pages for game creation, game creation processing, etc... But a good idea in principle, and where a suggestion is very contentious, I will try to make it optional. Not promising anything though!
