I was wondering how my fellow admirals want to delegate duties, I seem to have taken over somewhat of late with the [dodfi] spat, but we did get a good result!
So, what should we do, how should we divide the work up?
One idea I had is to give each conflict to one admiral to co-ordinate overall, I did the [dodfi] one so someone else gets the next one - any good?
Of course we might end up fighting several enemies in which case we'd need several admirals.
We could have someone in charge of maintaining a fleet, they would ask various players to concentrate on certain unit types maybe
Please let me know what you think fellow admirals, in fact anyone in general got any ideas?

Basic duty IMHO ias fleet management. So roles can be distributes as fleet manager/war, fleet manager/commerce, fleet manager/production for example. In case of course of multiple ward, then tuen to account based duties.
(In fact production management is a general issue that we might want to tackle)

I'm concentrating only on small warships production. They are the fastest ships around and at less than half the price of a big one there really isn't much negative about them.
Add to that catapults, small merchants, spearman with highest defense shields or archers with highest offense bows and I think we have the perfect type of fleet.
Every small warship should have one catapult and one spearfighter or archer and then we bring in 250. How does that sound in general ?
One admiral handles supreme command in conflicts and should/could rotate. The rest are socalled "Schout by nacht" (night admiral) and reserve, also on rotation scheme. Independent players, though without rank, could be arranged to produce certain amounts of ships, cats and men for the alliance backbone fleets. How does it sound to have the 6th fleet moving to smite our enemies ? ;D

You need large warships to carry cats, and then you can only carry one per ship.
