It's back .....
AT BETA 0.1j R1
ie the version just before 0.2
I'll start uploading the files/database again.
I've disabled accounts whilst I do this

Database is at 0.2 level, but scripts are at 0.1j R1.
Unfortunately, I cannot connect by FTP to upload the new scripts.
Will let you know when I can.

If you already ported everything to icemark, why not stick with it, if it's faster.

I see the icemark one as the one where everybody plays, but it would be very useful for me to have a pre-release server, so that I can test things like emailing etc, which I can't do on my dev pc
also, i don't have direct access to the database on the icemark site, so at the moment chris has to run any update scripts for me. not strictly true, i can probably acces it from home on my dial up modem.

This may be a bit late but you have my permission to transfer my login information across to the new server. I'm afraid I don't get the time to lurk on the boards as much as I'd like, but hey ho.  I did get a quick turn on the new beta and it looks great! Can't wait to get a chance to try and break it.  |

Hi there, nice to see you are still around, if only in short bursts! Yeah, it should get a bit better from home at least. Work access will continue to be a no go for the foreseeable future. Our company has been sold on the sly to a competitor and they are shutting down all but one of our sites. As you can imagine it's been a pretty traumatic year so far. The good news is that I had an interview for my own job and I get to keep it. (I was the only applicant  ) Means travelling into Cambridge every day which is a bugger but I do get an 8.5% pay rise which is not a bugger. ;D |
