I have 239Mb of my 250Mb free. My ISP is plusnet and I'm on their ADSL 520Kb service. If you're reluctant to change ISP I don't know if I can give you access to my webspace? I'd have to look into it. It's whether they support PHP and MySQL that's the main thing to be honest as the space issue is with database records. If so, then we could mirror the site there. People would have to re-register, as I can't give anyone my list of users, as per the 1998 Data Protection Act. And for that to happen, the registration page would have to be fixed, which isn't going to happen until sometime in, err, later... But thanks very much for the offer - if they do support PHP and MySQL, that would be a great option for when the game goes live. We could host a sub-club of MU there - you should have just about enough space to cater for Fernando's game addiction ;D

C'est dommage ;D Too bad!, would it ease your plight to say that it can be stored for over 100 years and only gets better?

It's whether they support PHP and MySQL that's the main thing to be honest as the space issue is with database records. If so, then we could mirror the site there. I haven't activated these features as I am really lazy where it comes to my webpage and haven't updated or learnt any new skills since I first dabbled 2 years ago. However I do know that it has both MySQL and PHP, so if you ever get stuck let me know, and we'll have a look at setting up the mirror. It'll be good to do something usefull and constractive, (ahem ahem) with the webspace I'm paying for.

Great Also, I double-checked my account settings and mad fool that I am I had been quoting my email space quota, not my web hosting quota. So in fact I have 20Mb, twice what I said. So it's not as bad as I made out, though far from perfect. Plus, I am implementing a change in MU so that garrisons MUST be created with at least 50 men, so that will drastically cut down on the number of records where there are 0R/0W. These account for about 10-15% of all "lord" records, which in turn are by far the greatest space consumers. You will then have to opt for keeping 50+ men at the garrison, or taking ALL the remainder, and the record will be deleted. You will thus lose ownership of the keep or citadel. Makes you think, doesn't it ;D

Correction, empty garrisons account for 18% of lord records, just checked.
