I think Giant riders is a mistake and will be fixed shortly. After that I think being Giant is very risky as reinforcements will be hard to get...

I wonder, dwarves seem to have at least a 10% bonus. If giants have 20, that could compensate...

dwarves get ~12.5 bonus giants ~15.0
I think (can't remember exactly)
but mads is right. in the LOM scenario you'd need to get to a citadel real sharpish and convert it to giant control to start generating giant reserves. not easy.

And Fey should have +1, instead of 0, in woods now... (like, 10%). So, we'd have free and foul as "parity" races with no bonuses, which is alright coz there are so many of them around, and then *all* the other races would be compensated for men shortage with the bonuses. Seems that Fey are a bit on the down side atm with only the no-penalty thing.

Location fight bonuses are not yet implemented for any race, except if they are at a vassal stronghold

Races should tend to have only one of move better , fight better, be more numerous. Or, the more bonuses, the (drastically) less numerous a race.

That's quite hard to implement as I don't want to make it over-sophiticated and make it scenario-dependent. If you make, eg Giants very fast and very strong based on the fact that there are none in LOM, say, they then become the kick-bottom brigade in DDR, and anyone starting there is going to win hands down.
Tricky, this multiple-scenario business!
