You will all be glad to know that he is moving for the next release - where? Not telling! Also, with the skulkrin movement penalty removed, they will at least be scouts, and when I get around to implementing their assasin bonus, they could even be useful btw Did you move Lek without telling us, or did I miss the notice?

Yes, plus it seemed the right place to put a " deserter", up in the cold northern wastes, against the ice.

As a matter of sheer curiosity, has anyone managed to recruit both Fadrath and Torkren yet? Yes, and in a 4 player game IIRC.

Doomdark seems to ba a lousy warrior. Did anyone try giving his soldiers to The Hand? Is he any better? I think it depends of courage of that lord..Usually Hand is utterly courageous and Doomdark scared or so..but once my Doomdark was utterly couragoeus and the Hand was courageous..certainly in this case Doomdark will be better leader than Hand..

Never, ever take a tired army into mountains. Mountains are deliberately set to exhaust you. However, Torkren can walk through mountains as though they were plains. I will add a couple of new dwarf lord in the centre and North soonish, to balance that factor out. Yes, but dwarfs when walk through downs spend the same time as other non-dwarf players.. So, for high mountains dwarf spends 1 hour and for mild downs he spends an hour and half.. Unlogicall.. isn't it?

Resuming the subject and reducing the noise ratio, here's a hot tip:
Put troops into garrison, even in keeps, if a group of lords are spending a day or two there. The stronghold bonus only works if the stronghold has an active, existing garrison. So if a stronghold is attacked a small garrison can very easily dissapear in the very first attack, after which both sides fight equally.
As long as the garrison exist, more troops can be added even in fighting, so you should make sure the garrison in the citadel you have chosen for the final confrontation is of a race that you have plenty of troops of. Otherwise you will find it hard to resupply and keep the defensive bonus.
And that is why any stronghold you keep lords at should have at least 500 men in garrison. You never know when an opponent makes a surprise attack and wipes out the garrison in first try.

There is an issue there. When you create a garrison, commander's courage is randomly determined. I suppose it influences the way it fights. But since you can remove the garrison and create it anew without any penalty (I think), you should do it until he's utterly courageus.
The issue is, why not make him utterly courageus in the first place?
Or (better, in my oppinion), creating a garrison should take a few hours time, like seeking. Then one would have to decide how close a margin should be set on garrison's survival, if under un utterly courageous lord soldiers would fight much better.
