Well, in this case it was more of a double act. Dawn and Rorath both survived previous attacks in which they lost their horses. In Dawn's case it was a full army, after which Matjia switched to using single lords to try and remove my blockers. Five of them have now died and they have only removed Dawn so far.
In the meanwhile, the main body of my surviving men has had time to get away and can get some much needed rest. ;D

Yeah, the previous time I remebered to resupply them with horses, so they survived, but omitted it this time. And I, too, am resting my troops (that is why I'm not attacking with lords who are leading soldiers) and giving chance for my meagre reinforcements to catch up. So I probably woudn't attack even if I could.
