How am I supposed to remember what's going on in this game. All my specials are gone, and there's literally armies all over the place. Ring-O's gone, but which armies are his statues and which are Matija's doomed armies?
And who stole the Handmaiden's horsy, so she will have to walk?

My armies are mostly in the S at the moment, between Dawn and Shimeril, but I'll be heading N very soon.
I did poorly in recuitment, so it's a big dilemma wether to try to conquer R's citadels that are brimming with soldiers, incurring heavy losses, or head stright for you with what I've got.
But you'll probably win this one in any case.

Great to be back with this game, Matija. I was headed for Shimeril where I had observed your armies, but then my spy was killed by some of your forces moving NE towards Marakith, while Shimeril at the same time turned out to be empty. And suddenly I didn't know what to do... What I ended up doing was to turn all my rider armies towards Marakith (you know who they are) while a few warrior armies took Shimeril, and my mixed armies waited in the middle to see what turned up. Another problem I have is that my very limited access to Guidiance can't tell the difference between Ringthane's statued armies and your live armies. Who of you two recruited excatly who down south is rather unclear to me. Anyway, my rider armies will continue pounding and see if they find some more prey on the way. Maybe down Kumar or Dregrim are where the rest of your guys are hiding

I know only too well where your armies are, but I'm running out of spies.

Yeah, I just found your missing armies. I think I shall have to bring up a few reinforcements before I take them on. Nice trap, though, but wasn't the bait too expensive?

Even by running faster, I wouldn't be able to merge the armies sooner, so I took advantage of refreshment in the villages on the way.

I've given up trying to kill Lorgrim. He seems to be indestructible.

Much appreciated Now, if you just would extend the same courtesy to Korinel up near Dreams, I just might spare Smiles and Rorthrorn. Or should we convene a convention of spies up thereabouts? Midnight Spy-Con '04?

I went for the 12 c. victory here. After I finished off Fernando, I decided I was too weak to stand any chance against you in an open battle.

Quite. Well done. I was totally concentrated on getting your main force brought to bay and annnihilated, that I ignored your lesser forces taking my citadels far in the rear. Having said said, you may have killed off Ringthane himself, but up north I did wage a long war against a good deal of his armies that lasted until he was killed. Judging by what is left of his southern forces standing around, you must have caught him without any protection. Had I known you were going to kill him that easily, I would have avoided them instead of annihilating them.

Yes, IIRC, Fernando's king came alone against my main force.
I lost quite some soldiers afterwards, though, taking citadels of Marakith, Kumar, Ithrorn and Dregrim..
BTW, did you notice that my forces split again? The riders waited at Kumar for you to catch up, then ran towards Imorthorn, while warriors went for Dregrim, hoping to remain unobserved. That's why I left Lorgrim be. He was in a perfect spot to see I'm still at Kumar, but was unable to see warrior armies moving SE.

I did indeed notice when I had guidiance to the effect that Mitharg (?) was at Dregrim. I had no real considerations about splitting my forces, as I was going all out for your king...
