We shall see if our small little scouting force can topple the walls of Xarjorkith.

On the contrary, we will expend our men on attacking your walls and soften you up for our brother fey. What difference which fey army wins, so long as the fey win.

Change of plans, but the principle remain. One to go in to do the softning up, giving SmellyThane a few good deep bodyblows, and a second army to move in to deliver the knock-out blow.
Come on, Thing, defend yourself! Fight!

I should very much hope that Blood is under foot, under ground and very much dead somewhere up in Doomland. At least, I think Blood was one of the very many dead lords the RingSmellyThaners left up there. But there's battle afoot, slaying afoot, and soon to be burials afoot, and then a lot of heroes under foot. ...and the head of Ringthane on a spike ;D

Lord Targ reined in his horse, throwing up clods of earth.
"What orders, my lord?"
Taeorn leaned forward, resting his hands on the pommel of his saddle, watching Ringthane the imposter rally his troops for a desperate defence of Kumar.
"Hold your men back until we give the signal. If any of Ringthanes men try to escape, kill them all."
"What of his women and children?"
"If you can catch the little worms, rope them. Lets keep our meat on the hoof. I can't abide decaying food."

You utter, utter b@stard, Ringthane! Utter, utter B@stard!
Smelly RingSmellyThane ran like a coward to the west up through the pass, and left his remaining men as a suicide garrison in the keep there, while he himself continued on.
Utter, utter B@stard!
Taeorn, can you please take over the destruction of RingSmellyThane's armies, then I will organise a pursuit of the Smelly One.

I am mopping up some of his dregs. Pursue. However I note that he has sallied forth from kumar with his few good armies, so I suspect he intends to dog your heels. Commence l' festival.

He is, but it doesn't matter. Nope. Both are very much alive and well, even if Tuhr miss his horse dreadfully (don't ask why ). Done! But now your spirit must go where I will not follow, but perhaps you soon will meet the young Taeorn in the Realm of the Dead. Him ... or me. I don't know

For the love I bear thee, Natmus.. let's meet on the field of battle one on one. Taeorn and his honor guard warriors versus Natmus and his honor guard warriors, one army against one army, fully rested. No retreat, to the death.
What say you?

I (pronounced "aye") say Nay! The loyal troops of High King Natmus the Merrymaker could not stand idly by while their liege lord put himself and only a select few in danger. As well disciplined and steadfast as they normally are, that they couldn't do.
