Ringy vs Merlin
Chris has a new recruitment plan. And it works. I met Dawn at KurAruth, Spider at Plains, and Morgallis at Ushgarak. I had to send the Original Geezer to kill Spider just in time to get Plainsman.
Your mistake: moving Herath down to get Plainsman. I killed Herath, recruited Kor with Rorthron, and now I also have Doomdark and The Hand.

I thought long and hard about that one. I thought herath would kill rorthron, but I didn't see that army in the distance until I got there...
I flipped a coin between giving you another targ and recruiting Kor. I guessed I was going to win and this Kor wasn't a problem... I agree, a mistake! That might prove a vital mistake in this campaign.

Another hard decision for me: go for Thimrath chasing (who? Xaj?) with Shimeril, or stay and kill Morning. Were you taking Morgallis anywhere? And Grarg? Hey, amazing start you had btw. Mountains of Ithril near Kumar I guess... where are all those SE lords?

Killing Rorthron was just an act of revenge! for scuppering my plans back at the plainsman's house. I figured I had enough energy to get and kill him before dying.
This game is not looking so good now. You must have most of the west and north west... and any you haven't got, I have no way of getting to in time.
That Kor decision really was decidingly bad!
Where did shimmy go?

Yes, please. For each turn I spend running, one or two of your lords fall dead along with 2000 men. I'm just pitying home ain't ten thousand leagues away...

I guess this game is as good as yours then.
Exhaustion has been my undoing in this chase. Fadrath won't survive now, and it has taken me until you almost reached your protectors to catch you.
I'd like to think I caught you out on this one, and ran you close to the bone. Moving your troops south seemed to take a while, as did moving your troops north.
I don't believe this started off as an intentional cat and mouse, although that's how it ended. And in your favour as you always had superior numbers north.
You were one turn away... Amy got there just in time.

This was an intentional cat and mouse, as you may now have found with the six armies lying hidden in the little Glorim wooden thicket. I started moving my king out from KurAruth exactly in time to take out your SW-most force, then out again NW across Blood as soon as I saw Tujarg (still a problem, mind) and then moving the Doom Dudes (Gorgrath was blocking Karya and Tuhr from retreat, noticed?) SW to hammer any intruders at Korkith. The rest is as have you seen at BloodHenge...

Mine were all exhausted too, except I went at your lonely lords in packs of four and five...

If I'd moved my western lords one turn earlier you would have been dead. Also you only caught Fadrath because of a crash in IE!!!!! I was at the lake while your lords were still high on the plains of Kor. Visible to Ithrorn and lek. Fadthrath seeked and got full energy and moved to intercept your king easily. IE. Crashed and when I restarted Fadrath was at the lake... the whole turn was lost seeking to get energy!!! So he never moved and never got his energy!!! The same happened with Dreams.

They'd die anyway... Amy was a decoy from the moment I replenished. You sound griefstricken... c'mon, let's play it out and then rematch

What I meant was, Amy was lucky to replenish your king. One day sooner for me and your king would have been dead.
