This is so funny! And they're not even attacking all the players that are attacking them I have to be impressed, I just took an isle off scoots, and have incoming attacks, so he might try to practice scorched earth as well

This is great. Makes me want to do some more DIGG killing. (But I need people with me in ocean 43!) Eproxy, did you send digital the stoners? Just checking.

He's still whining away, though I'm not responding:
I'm tempted to respond with this, or I might just ignore him. Whatcha think?

I would be tempted to write this guy and ask for his definitions of 'honourable play'. Let him define all the do's and don't's of IK, so we know what he deems acceptable behaviour. Then if we don't something that isn't listed as a 'don't' in his definitions, we can rightly claim he is making up rules as he goes along whenever it suits him.
But he can't say that the idea of Scorched Earth comes as a surprise to him. Plenty of players has that on their profiles, and with him being such an active player he must have come across it at some point.

Ask him, before comparing the significance of "Honor", does he know what the ancient ritual of the Maharaki warriors, before they prepared their white elephants for a tropical forest battle, was?
Tell, him if he replies back, in aquaintenc of this ancient ritual, then Morkin truely sees him as an inteligent warrior.

I do not entirely sure of the faction or the time but I believe in feudal japan felt disgraced or felt like he didn't achieve what he could have he would cut his stomach so all his insides fell out and then I think a priest of some kind would slit their throat.
Seem to remember it in Shogun: Total War.
Scorching earth is our way of saying we are unhappy and would rather sacrifice ourselves than be slain by an unworth enemy.

Scorching earth is our way of saying we are unhappy and would rather sacrifice ourselves than be slain by an unworth enemy. Yer overcomplicating things. This is a war against an enemy 10 times our size. Hence you fight an asymmetrical war. Denying valuable resources to the already-rich enemy is standard doctrine in such circumstances. And it is equally predictable that in all such wars of large Empires against small guerrillas that the Empire bitches and moans when the "rebels" won't just line up and die like good peons.

BTW, my remark is utter crap. I made it up. Figuring it would make him spend some time surfing the net looking for white elephant rituals...

Also, I'm getting sick and tired of that old "I thought Morkin was honourable, but apparantly not..." whiny tale going like a broken record that everebody always throws around once they are unhappy with us. For one thing we never were that honourable to begin with, but somehow we gained that reputation because we could explain our actions, mostly. Mainly I'm tired of us having to live up to all other's ideas of honour. If we did that, how could we be innovative? All is fair in warfare, even when we don't bother to actully 'declare' it, which seems a nice trick to do against such anal sticklers for protocol like the current DIGG staffers. ;D

I completely agree Mads. This lunatic whining that we aren't behaving according to some mad notion that other people have in their heads is completely crazy. It's obviously driving them insane though, so we should keep it up ;D

Reading between the lines, DIGG are losing the war.
Anyhow, I don't care what people think any more really, we're not bullying anyone and you could argue taking on a huge enemy is honourable, but I don't really care too much.

Thus even more reason to keep a blackout.
They are scared and whining. Since when have they cared about honor? They bullied E|S out of the game, made up fake attacks from Empire members so they could flatten their biggest rival.
Digg are full of Merda!, but oh well. I'm actually having fun now and will probably stick around after the war now. I was just gonna move to another server but this has being great.

Stay the course. Maintain the blackout, it seems to be having the desired effect.

This is fun and all but my account is dead now.
I've not been on much because I have a work deadline. I'm tired of looking at my account only to find it with a few less isles.
Thank you to Sol, ruku and eproxy who have all done a great job of looking after my account and doing the dirty work.
I'm in control of the system16 account at the moment and I have 4 isles in ruku's protection that I can take when I'm ready.
My plans are as follows:
1. Wait out the digg war, if I have some isles left then I'll continue on.
This is where it splits I either do:
2a. Abandon digital account and continue with system16
2b. Merge with system16 and get the 4 isles from ruku, then systematically take all my isles back.
Any peace treaty should include all my old isles (a list can be provided if needs be), ruku and eproxy have said that they will take them and hold them for me if needed.

Actually there are 3 isles haha. But I'm keeping another few o43 incase anyone else needs some as well (I decided today) I'll try and be a colowhore in o43 for this purpose. I think if there are any isles left, A merge would be a good idea. Just take 1 crap isle with the system account and then fleetsave it I think though, as we have talked before, that the support for you has not exactly been brilliant because everybody is really busy. But saying that, I don't believe any sort of support could have saved you there, lol. That was a total onslaught. I have to say you have an exalts for the show
