Sorry about the lack of options but this does look as clear cut as it sounds..
Following clause/sol/aseir 's actions last night we have to make a choice as to where to go with it now..
We will need a clear majority to justify going to war, as it would only work with all of us involved, it would be a 1 way mission for many if not all of us.. that may see other alliances clearing up after we are done.

I'm in favour of keeping to our primary objective of neautralizing the Orc. Scattering all over is not the way to do it, unless there is a very good reason.
As far as I know, no one in Digg attacked us, and issues involving islands being "sniped" can easily be worked out diplomaticly as we went all the way to "box the Orc in" in this respect.
Alliances have been warned on that matter so if they wish to persist in taking islands or harbouring Orcs while the war rages, they know that that might mean a fight with us.

I agree with inyati on this. Granted that it's an opening for war against DIGG, but I still don't think that we should take the primary beating from them if war breaks out.
I like the long term planning, and like inyati I think that diplomats could've worked out agreements on those sniped isles. If the snipers would turn out to be complete assholes, then we could mark them for termination at a more convenient time.

We have an objective and that is to take the fight to ORC. In the interests of the Alliance we need to put out a message distancing ourselves from our renegade friends.
Any future conflicts require detailed planning, rather than on the hop stuff. It may be a good opening to take a fight to DIGG, but that should be Pantheon's fight not ours
If we decide to go to war at a later date whether alone or in conjunction with other alliances we need to organise ourselves better.
There are some members that do a huge amount of work in the background so that when we go to war, we live to tell of our victory knowing that it was gained in an honourable way. let their efforts not be in vain in an unplanned assault
stay on target and see through what we have before looking to our next goal

Not if you have the forethought to take a "lucky rabbits foot" from each before opening the cage door! lol

Yeah I agree with the people so far. Lets focus on one thing. I think this war with ORC will weaken us regarding future wars in the short term but it was unavoidable. It's been brought our way and we just have to do it. It might be a well tailored plan by DIGG-ORC to wear us down a bit, at least it is my opinion. I will get my satisfaction in burning down a couple orc isles at least.

As much as I hate to sit back and abandon respected members of the Morkin group, they should have at least told someone about this first and done some planning. They could have at least waited until the war kicked off between DIGG and Pantheon before leaving the alliance.
It was a bad move on their part, and I advocate sticking to the Orcs before moving on to something else.

It seems to me it was a decision taken in the heat of the moment. Being under stress I think clouds your judgement a bit, and you suspect malice when it's probably ignorance at work.
This Rahein guy probably didn't want to deliberately profit from Aesir's work (I would hope, at least), but it looked extremely like that from our point of view. Add to that the Digg-link.
I'm not saying that I cannot understand Clause, and I might have reacted just like him in that situation. But IK is also a game of incomplete information.
It's a shame to lose three(?) committed players. But perhaps we should have a roll-call now: those who want to do their own thing leave now, as that makes life a lot easier for the diplomats who otherwise have to think up explanations and justifications, and also for those planning warfare, as they know whom they can rely on. It's a two-sided deal: you get protection and good company, and in return you need to become a cog in the whole works. You give up freedom to act independently, but gain a lot of power from acting in a cohesive group.

Rahein agreed to give the isle back on the IK.com forum in end - although that might have been after he saw all the incoming attacks I'm not sure.
