Im thinking klosch may be tsunamied either today or tomorrow, so get these isles quick Sure you guys know this already: Isles will remain on the server --even if the ruler is deleted-- while there are ships en route, so if you have a target that is now rulerless send LMS deliveries of 1 stone etc to protect it against the next tsunami, and give you time to collo.

Are you sure about that? I seem to remember that one of my raiding fleets a while ago simply returned without success because the isle it was heading for had disappeared.

I've always thought POSE's theory to be correct although who can prove which player of thousands has fleets heading towards an isle (if any are)? Is it not possible someone else raided just before you and that the isle was deleted after your raid? Or maybe a glitch? Or maybe we're wrong Luckily I have two CS en route to each isle with about a day between them. Even if the first fails the isle will still exist with time for me to send another back up CS. The good news is I cleared 100% of one isle and so far 55.5% of the other isle. Which means I should be colonising both I don't try to colo over high walls anymore. I had bad luck too many times. The sole reason I don't colonise over level 20 Stonewalls is that if your first attempt does fail then it won't cost anything to send another. Bearing in mind that with failed colonisation attempts it is not really a case of if but more of when.

I Have always worked under this assumption, and it seems to hold, I have never had an isle 'dissapear' while a ship is en route, not sure how the game/server would handle that TBH, in terms of arrival time/destination/result etc if the isle simply wasnt there what would your harbour show as an estimated time of arrival to oblivion?. I think we had a thread about spies at some point and the concensus seemed to be that the result of the spying mission was determined at the point of launch, I cant emagine how the server could rationalise deciding that the spy attempt was going to be a success on the Monday, and on the Wedsnesday there being no isle to succeed against? Just seems the easiest way to resolve the issue is to leave the isle there, im sure somone that understands the design of this game could verify?

I'll take (12:46:20) if no-one else wants it. The isles are now unowned, its a case of first come-first served with the rest of IK now.

It is probably a rare occasion, but again, if I remember correctly, my ship just turned round and returned to the harbour. But as I said, I could be misremembering things.

TheOneWhoIsMany seems to have colonised my isle, he's chosen a very strange name for it considering he didn't clear it.
Interesting...
Added: After a couple more mails (and presentation of my attack reports) he has decided to let me have the isle. The player whom indicated that they had been "clearing the isle and have suffered a few losses" has been mailed. I expect that the first part of that statement is false and that the losses can be account for by the Level 11 Stonewall. I expect so because I account for every single unit on the isle up to before it even became unowned oO

Usually at the time of Tsunami there is approximately 15 to 30 minute window of opportunity... As I understand it provided there is a ship en route to that isle... either a spy, a delivery or an attack that isle stays afloat. If there is no ship in transit then the isle has about a 90% chance of slipping beneath the waves. This was based on observations made on the .uk server... It is possible there are other rules on here.
