To me TheNoob feels a little blunt in his writings, so perhaps diplomat isnt right role for him. But im not a very good judge of people. So maybe KoM admin would suit him better, that sometimes need bluntness...

Just to clarify, is the voting restricted to KoM members only?
I'm seeing an option to vote, though it doesn't feel right to do so until there is some clarification.

The voting is open to everyone, only the applications were open to KoM.

I'm not too keen on people moving fast up the ladder. We already have 2 original KoM admins, that in my view are being "tutored" in the Morkin fashion by Digital and eproxy. They are the first to form the alliance and still need time to get things up and about, just like our current Luxor admins. I'd rather leave it as is or have another Morkin/Luxor member fill in for eproxy until KoM native members get the feel for Morkin way of life. As none stepped up I vote a diplomatic role for both volunteers. Its also a very good way to start, and due to our way of playing the game (heavily based on discussion, mails, colo disputes, etc), a much praised position which brings a lot of responsibilty and much to do. (there's already a good trianing field with conkerer's colo problem against Digg).

Hmmm...I am a bit torn. I think both applicants are great and in the future will be suited to be admins, but for now, seeing as the alliance is new, maybe someone from Morkin/Luxor/Corleth can guide KoM and in a couple of months we can have another election. During that time, both thenoob and conkeror will have time to familiarise themselves with the way the alliance works by getting practice with communicating with other alliances (colo disuputes, etc). This way, if we ever go to war during such period, both applicants can see how we organize instead of panicking because they're not familiar with our style. Additionally, I think being diplomat is funner.

I'd be interested to hear from KoM members. If they're extremely opposed to having the tutelage of longstanding Morkin leaders, it could be detrimental to "force" candidates upon them.
But if they're apathetic, deferential, or prefer veteran Morkin members to remain in two of the Admin slots, then that's definitely the way to go.

Diplomat.
One of them roles if he does become a little out of his depth one of us luxor diplomats could help him out and guide him through it.
As an admin I would expect you do have to make your own decisions from time to time which can be daunting for someone new to the family.

I voted Admin.
He seems very easy to get on with, but as Shendemiar said, he seems a little 'blunt', both are needed at points in the Admin role.
I can see TheNoob fast becoming a very influencial/'likeable' family member in the Morkin family. As he is new though maybe a trial run is in order and then a sort of review in which people can post of his influence and presence since his move to admin?

I voted Diplo, same sentiments as Inyati/Sol.
Hoping the KoM members weigh in heavily, as it is ultimately something that effects them more than anybody else.

I'll abstain. I haven't had any time so far to actually get to know who both of them are. Sorry.

I dont see a problem promoting KoM ers to staff roles... thats the only way to them to get familiar with the duties. Of course people like Digital and Rapso would have veto over their doings if it came to some crisis.

I voted diplo, pretty much for the same reasons that have already been posted in this thread. Diplo also seems like a good place to being in a position of authority, with a chance to move up the ladder if the job is well done.
Also, I think Clause makes a good point about not forcing an Admin on KoM from Luxor. However, as KoM is still fairly new, I think it seems prudent to wait until there really appears someone that seems to fit well into that position. Or, maybe after the new diplo(s) have a chance to learn the reigns of that job, it will become obvious if one is a well-suited admin.
