If it's only spears you have to cut through 1700 would be close to acceptable, but that O12 isles has 1,5K archers and 2,7K stoners as well

14:30:5 !
Christmas again. I spied this one on Friday night and saw it had a wall (i.e., not a farm), and MH (i.e., not prepped for colo), but a meager 1 LWS, 2 spears, 1 cat. I figure it was a multi that cleaned it out and abandoned it.
Anyhow, it'll be mine shortly. 6 colo's < 1.5 hrs away. Where's Kae, my lucky colo man?!?!

It's possible to prevent isles from sinking by keeping merchants headed for them with single stone. Just send a slow boat from far enough away, and remember to send off another one before the first one arrives, so there always is at least one ship headed for the isle you want to keep floating.

They "sink" at Server Update, so just making sure you have something inbound the following day at update time should suffice. I've never heard of an isle sinking any time other than update.
EDIT: There are two server updates. One at GMT 0000, when the rankings update, new 1-pt islands spawn, etc. There is another update one hour earlier, where islands go rulerless. I can't recall which it is that they sink off the top of my head, so assume both.

Is it not that they go rulerless at GMT -1, and may then sink with the GMT update if no ships are headed for them? (obviously no all sink though)

Roger. That's my understanding, and what I've seen since I've been tracking them closely for the past 2 months.

That's what I've experienced as well. The isle I mentioned that sank, could sink for all I cared. I didn't want to clear all the stuff placed there.

Bah had two failures on: 5:52:17 5:45:8 Resent to the second one, but JayL got to the first one Thanks to sol for looking after my account, I still had a crappy nights sleep. EDIT: Someone just took the last isle! All I want is 20 isles then I can sit back and let XXL run its course!
