Unlucky, but that's the trade off for unowned built-isles. You get to start building an army right off the mark with near-full resource buildings, but you've to get past that wall and whatever they've stockpiled beforehand.

I just spent 250 LWS clearing out my 1k at 14:48:7. And failed my first attempt. The colo-trains don't start rolling in for another 3.3 hours now. If somebody steals it, I'm going to be a bit irked. I swear, Sven knows when you are making a colonization that is time-crucial vs one that isn't such a rapid priority. And he throws you failures on the former EDIT: #2 was successful. I'm looking at 4 more incoming - 3 of my own, and 1 from Werddrew. If he doesn't have cats, it shouldn't be a problem. But there's a chance he does, since it is a 1k island after all...

To make matters a little worse, fhbone from DIGG overcolo'd me on that isle because of cats in the colo fleet. I recolo'd today, but it cost me 2 colo ships on top of that 600 LWS fleet On another note, seeing that I'll be away and the Operation Columbus isles are a 4 day trip away for me, I'm catching some nice isles in O12. Sending spies to (12:37:16) and (12:23:11)

A bunch went rulerless in o6 so I might be grabbing a few more. Awaiting spies still.
------------ ADDED:// Slowplay from Pantheon got both of them. I took some losses I wish I didn't but oh well. Here's another we can add to the list of us not causing a big deal over taking losses and not getting the isle.

My goal is to get 100 isles by the end of this year, so I will foolishly send colos to 52:70:5 52:70:24 52:70:6 I probably won't get them...4 days.
