I need something else to think than the Orc incident, so here's the deal: Best new idea for the database wins... uhm... i'm not giving anything so... 30 karma. Yeah.

Taking all of the data we have. Fleets, Spy Reports, etc. and adding them into the map. So that if we go to war. I type in 32:13:18, it centres on my main, and allows me to filter out competing alliances (Orc), highlights them on a map, and when I hover over that island, it pops up the most recent data from that island.
You didn't say it had to be easy!

Do you have ocean rankings and stats? I'm not sure if I passed it or not, but that might be pretty cool.

Along McGoogus' idea about rankings...
We are all (supposedly) entering our fleet data on a regular basis (weekly or so?).
A ranking output that tells you where you stand within your ocean, as well as amongst the Morkin alliances, in terms of ranking in each category (both raw numbers, and per-isle averages). This would maintain the confidentiality of the data, as well as show players where they may need to focus some production.

I like that idea of something that will let you know what you need to focus on building!

Hmmm...I don't know if this is possible.
But, when you enter a spy report maybe the database can determine what it would take to clear and colo an isle. I know you can do this in IK already, but I'm lazy.

I know you can do this in IK already, but I'm lazy. Superb addition. I would like the "loss calculator" to do something such as this: 1. You can automatically have the field of the defender filled by hitting a button from the spy report. 2. You can enter what you want to send at it. 3. It will output what your anticipated losses are, and the defenders anticipated losses. 4. You can automatically generate the new defender force, after the anticipated losses (this will aid those who do not intend to clear an isle in a single strike).

Alas, i don't know how to reliably calculate the losses. I don't know if anyone does on ik.com
If someone can crack the formula i can do all this very easily.

I think you're on the right track. It might be a bit too complicated, but if you could get the database to automatically formulate an "estimate" based on past results, and then continually refining that "estimate" as more and more attacks are logged, we could end up with something rather precise. Of course, we'd all have to take the "estimate" as precisely that, and not come crying when it's wrong Shendemiar EDIT: sorry i edited instead of replying so now i'm deletig what i wrote and replying properly

But i want even more ideas!!!!

How about...
Lets say I have IK goals and I want to have
15,000 LWS 200,000 Spears 100,000 Stoners 1,000 Catas (exaggerated but you get the point).
Can you create something in the database where it calculates a schedule that will get you all of these counts in the fastest time possible?
Also, I know there is an XXL trick that builds ships, stoners, spears, archers, at the same time...maybe there is another combination...
I dunno. Might be silly.
