There are multiple tools out there that generate lists of unowned isles, getting access to one is often hard though. Other useful ones are fleet counters, especially when you have a large account.

Hinkebein told me yesterday that for the German servers there are 'manager applications', which make it easy to, erm, manage large accounts. Totally against the rules, but allegedly tolerated. I ask whether Sven tolerates them, and he then said that you can't tell whether they are being used. www.car-hifi-design.de/ikm/page/index.php is a link to that site.

Very nice site, and written in 100% CSS (I use the same template).

I've just realised how cool that RAID tool is (despite not being updated today); if you click an ocean on the World Map when you have alliances selected it gives a damn good ocean strength/location summary.

It certainly does. I'm glad I'm not in Ocean 3, it looks as though E|S are claiming that one. You can also see that DIGG dominate half the map, but are nowhere in some oceans.

Their accounts are distributed mainly near where the new oceans were at the time they all signed up, hence why they're all along that line in the middle.

Whatever happened to the colo tool freiegeister was making for the .uk server ? he posted lists for us on the fish and ships forums a few times. Could it be adapted to work on this server ?

It's over my head. I don't quite get what it does or how to use it.

From the brief 30 seconds I spent on there you need Ruby on Rails installed then copy paste the code into whatever compiler ruby uses and then run it in the ruby terminal. I'm too tired/stressed/tired to bother.

that manager program seems interesting. I'd be curious to poke around in one of those.
