Congrats Luke.
Is men-at-arms basically on call for the fight?

Congrats Luke. Is men-at-arms basically on call for the fight? That's my understanding. I can't recall where I read it, but there's "Military Engineer" and "Men-at-Arms". The former is the kind of player who plays a support role (i.e., sending resources, running spies, etc), and the latter is the kind of player who does heavy attacking. Inyati has said somewhere that if you believe you are either, to just drop him a note and he can do his magic.

Hehe I'm always on call for a fight (bring on the orcs) but lack the facility to hurt anyone significantly.

Instead of having the plain member ribbon, you can choose the Men-at-Arms or Engineer, or both, which helps to personlise your lammeta a bit more.

I could be either, but it seems you are lacking a Military Engineer. I'd be more than happy to help with resources/spying. EDIT:// of course if the Engineer is considered a sissy I would much prefer Men-At-Arms and keep my manly pride.

Sure! Ribbon awarded. And supporters aren't "sissy's". Men-at-Arms depend on them, and usualy supporters (engineers) are also the first to suicide fleets. So there's much respect for an Engineer
