I also wouldn't mind maybe running it. I'd have to check with Driez, and I'll be gone most of June, but still, I'd like to do it.

It wouldn't be bad idea to start another alliance. FoM is getting quite big...do we really want more members? And, I am aware that he is rebuilding, but he doesn't strike me as very strong. So yes, I think I would agree in creating another alliance, or accepting him and rejecting further applications, unless for some reason the player in question is extremely qualified.

Do we really need a feeder alliance ? If they are good enough to warrant a place in a feeder alliance why not just give them a trial run in FoM ? We dont have any of the issues that Morkin has about letting in new members, most of us didn't know each other before this started so its no problem letting in new people. It isn't that he is not good enough to get in. I like his app. But I like our smaller close knit group that we have even though our three alliance act as one. It would also help determine if the player would be better off in corleth instead of FoM. Morkin has already done this once when forming FoM so we have the advantage of skulks experience. I think we formed up quickly and we became strong quickly. It may even help more if many of our FoM members formed the new alliance under a diff name(Fey or whatever) and left the FoM name to the new alliance. Our name may be enough to protect them during their early days. EDIT: Has some one mailed this guy to tell him we are discussing his app more fully, so it may be a couple of extra days?

Life_is_green is a fitting name to close all aplications to FoM. I'm inclinded at letting him if not for his experience in com universes, which hopefully he may share with us. I also think we should not grow too much. Being small (or medium sized) has it's advantages, and we work much better together when we get to form a tight group as varoius others have said. I'm extremly happy on how FoM has evolved. I think you have made an excelente alliance, with good players who are commited to work with eachother for a common purpouse. As a discussion has risen on a feeder alliance and on limiting access to FoM, which means a reorganization of the triunvirate why not temporary suspend applications after admitting Life_is_green, giving us some stressless time to talk and prepare the future.

I think that Yats has summed up the situation perfectly. LIG as the last FOMer before the we have a moratorium.

then lets let green in, close the membership and start a new thread about starting a new alliance, or if we will simply remain small with no more alliances. We could also organise our war morphin alliance. Maybe we should start a whole new sub-board for this discussion. I would like for us to at least test a morphin alliance once, even if we don't all agree that it should happen, just to get a feel how it would work if we really went to war. sort of like a morph drill. It might be easier to tell if its something that would be usefull and to test how quickly our members respond to the call to arms.

Those are my thoughts entirely. In my view, either someone is good enought to join us or they aren't. We just want good people in the alliance — whether or not they have a large account when they join needn't even be a consideration. On the subject of Life_is_green, I would be opposed to him joining. He has a very low id number, and a pretty weak account to show for it. He has also written infantile mesages in his personal data, which suggest to me a total lack of maturity.

For the record I'm against his joining us because he said in his application that mx attacked him due to inactivity, which is blatantly a lie, they attacked him because he attacked an mx player. Apart from that i havent really got anything against him but i'm still voting no.

2kcastle makes a good point. A liar is no good to the alliance. He doesn't strike me as a very strong player, and the alliance is already getting big. While I trust the admins to keep the alliance coordinated and efficient, from my experience as admin, I know bigger alliances require more work to organize during war, etc... I don't even know if creating another alliance would be a good idea anyway. 3 is a speshial number...4 isn't. 4 is just lame and even... But thats just me.
