1. Why do you want to join us?
I respect the values of "speaking softly and carrying a big stick".
2. If applicable why do you want to leave your current alliance?
I could go on for far pages on this one. Bottom line is that DIGG is sleeping with the Orcs, and I'm fed up with constantly serving Orc desires.
3. What is your IK history; List of Wars, Friends and Enemies.
I started IK in January. I'm a quick study, and was promoted to the highest circles of DIGG within a few short weeks. I stole a main in the Empire war, though I fiercely opposed that conflict. As a Diplomat an some more clandestine duties, I have extensive contacts/friends within several Top 20 alliances - Morkin, V|W, E|S, Empire, and H|F, primarily. Obviously, I am bound to decline from naming them.
4. How would you describe yourself as a player, What are your traits, both good and bad?
My traits as a player greatly reflect my personal traits. See #6 for better insight into this...
5. How much experience do you have of playing Inselkampf?
I think I have some great experience. I understand that you build boats to kill people. You do that by sending stone to their island to sink it. So far, I haven't sunk anybody's island yet, but I sent 700k over the past month to a neighbor, so I think he must be getting close...
6. How would you briefly describe yourself as a person: Age, Gender, Native Language, Hobbies, Education, Lifesituation and so on.
25-year old male in the United States. I work for the United States Army, 7th Special Forces Group (Airborne). As such, I've had the chance to encounter and work with indigenous peoples all over the globe, and as a result am pretty easy to get along with, in spite of any cultural divides.
I am a graduate student, about to wrap up my Masters of Science in International Relations - focus on National Security Affairs. So the chaos of IK is right up my alley - the political/security dynamic is where I really excel.
I also enjoy long walks on the beach...
7. Describe your current technical situation in the game. Isles, Fleets, Garrisons, which Ocean you are in etc.
10 islands in eastern o14. 3 mains, 7 feeders for them.
Natmus has seen the stats for my main, and I'll be the first to say it's nowhere near where I want to be. DIGG's endless wars continue to prevent me from putting together the kind of arsenal I am attempting.
All my expansion has been in my homesquare, and will continue to be. I am looking to create a fortress-network there; colo-whoring does not appeal to me.
8. What were your best and worst moments in the world of Inselkampf?
Worst is, no doubt, getting so fed up with DIGG administrators (one in particular) that I am forced to consider walking away from them. There are too many good ones to think of a single "best".
9. What is you opinion of multis and scripters?
Getting pretty fed up with DIGG's witchhunt - annihilating them is one thing, doing so with only speculative evidence is another.
10. Regarding pacts and peace treaties, what do you understand by those terms?
DIGG has always thrown around PT's like candy, and reserved Pact's for their closest friends. That's pretty much how I see it as well; as a Diplomat, I helped forged that DIGG philosophy on them.
11. Are you aware that Morkin, and therefore FoM, are rather peacefull alliances not actively seeking domination or war.
Very aware. That's why you blokes appeal to me. I'm fed up with giving 110% of my gaming time to an alliance that gleefully follows the Orcs into unjustified wars.
12. Please note anything which you feel might support your application to FoM.
This is a mere fragment of my "IK resume", but I don't want to make your eyes bleed any more than you guys want to interrogate me.
13. Finally (thank god I hear you cry), are you currently in any wars/squabbles with other players? What combat have you been involved in on this server?
DIGG has fought against Empire as a Top 20 alliance, and dozens of smaller alliances in my time. As a Diplomat and generally peaceful player, I have always managed to maintain outstanding relations, even with my political enemies.

My decision to leave DIGG is still developing. I am not yet fully committed, so I will not mislead the triumvant to think otherwise.
I am deeply considering my options as I find myself alienated in an alliance of hubris and confounding Orcish loyalties.
As such, I place my full trust in the confidentiality that FoM and the triumvant will place in this application.
It is truly a depressing, saddening thing to do; to leave the alliance you have so many dear mates in. However, it is even more depressing to allow a single player of IK to so deeply inflame you that you feel you need to part from your friends and establish new mates.
I have some questions of my own, if it is not too much trouble:
1. DIGG has island-search tools, as I'm sure you are familiar. Does the Morkin collective have similar tools?
2. Does the Morkin collective have a vibrant forum community?
3. Does the Morkin collectie utilize IRC, or similar live-communication mediums?
Look forward to hearing back from you guys.
