Yeah, leaving was a tad hasty. I would suggest you come back while we discuss it further. But if you ask me, you should stand and fight. The fight has to be taken at some point, and that point is soon. None of us are in good positions, but you can make a good dent.

Yes I am weak, and I have very few fleets at the moment, and I am pretty poorly defended.
This was not a case of 'wont' fight, but more a case of 'cannot' fight. I offered to switch to an alliance which was still linked to Morkin, e.g. KoM. The reason behind this would be that I could Supply fighters with cats, and stonies when they needed them. All that seemed to happen with this idea was, myself been called a runner.

I think in these guys position that there is nothing wrong with going to Lorgim. In fact it will probably benefit the rest of us by not having to worry about it. I would much rather them sit out for a few weeks and come riding to our aid if need be. They are still with us and I'm sure we can count on them when they need us, its just they are weak now.

I just wanted to chase a more diplomatic end for at least another few days.
I completely agree with Null in the sense that Digg won't split if we goto war with them.
To be honest from where I'm standing it would be a suicide mission no doubt. For me and a few others anyway.
As with Ruku, not a case of won't fight. If we officially went to war and exhausted all reasoning with Digg I'm happy to.
Just think we needed to be a little less hasty in the decisions made.

I dont thank anyone can be acused of running, as I cant see that we have decided to do anything yet.
a majority of 2 is no where near enought o justify going to war. and as the poll is split so closely I know their are a few of you that will dissagree, but hey viva la democracy!
we cannott allow this to break us up into the "will/can do's" and the "wont/cant do's" .
The 3rd way must be found. looking at the reasons given for staying out of direct conflict I think its obvious that the only factor splitting feeling is timeing, so why cant we chose a plan to take thse concerns into account??
heres my rough sketch:
we all stay in 1 alliance and ALL supply designated [panth] players with stoners on a massive scale, without declaring open war.
deminishig [digg] fleets and feeling of security, and allowing [panth] players to conserve their own fleets for attacking and not defending by fleet saving, this war will not be over quickly...then have another poll to decide if we want to take up an offensive roll in say 10 days...

my reasons for leaving in the end (and voting no against this war), were not because I'd be destroyed, or couldn't fight to full capacity because of Rahein ops (though these things are a reality). It was because I feel our goal for the war (which seemed/seems to keep changing), to make Digg split, would become impossible if we were to actually join the war. In addition, with a 17-14 vote, a quick close to the polls and internal declaration of war was a bit "distressing".
We need to remember that we ALL want the same thing here....Digg taken down a notch and split up so they don't end up killing the server. Some see the only option as war...personally, I see that as the worst option at this point. Pantheon tried to force it for the past two months, and we see where they ended up. As I've said before, lets try a different path, we are a peaceful alliance after all.

Taking a support role in some sister alliance is ok. Thats what we have planned after all, even its not finalized plan.

Well it looks like I had different reasons to Null and Gornall to be honest. I agree DIGG either need to split or be taken out, Yes diplomacy is the way to go for us as a peacful alliance, but I doubt they will listen. I moved so I could rebuild or support so I could join in later, I would simply not be happy dying and not enjoying it
