I'm going for a target of having something like 1k stoners ready on my main. It takes some time, as I spread out the building of them to several isles and mix in the stoners between my spears and occasional archers.

Yes, I agree.

I am currently building stoners 24/7 on most of my isles (not the weak ones) so I can repay the 6.5k lost and then will build some every day for the CRF.

The CRF is still with Fishcult BTW, 3 or 400 stoners, can't remember.

That's nowhere near enough, we need to have at least 200 stoners each for a decent force.

I would have donated some to skulkrinbaits isle but I suspected that I might have to use my ships for attacking Omerta instead, I was right as well

Why is it still with Fishcult, and not on your island where it was needed? I think we might be better off just sticking to the rapid reaction force type arrangement that we just used, it seemed to work pretty well.

He's still paying back what people have lent to him in backwards order of when he recieved it. I know he's given to me pretty everything that I lent him (around 500 stoners) even though I didn't expect any of it back since alot got destroyed...

Returning CRF and RRF is the case only if they survive, i guess.

Repaying debts is another matter of course, and needs to be done after somekind of defensive force is around.

Only after that comes the unwritten obligation to donate lot back to CRF and RRF.

Skulks, you don't have to repay my stoners. Build some spears for yourself instead, and I will just rebuild my own force of stoners.

Generally speaking I think that people who lose donated stoners don't mind so much, mainly because we all send smallish amounts and know that if we need defence we would get them too. The main situation where stoners should be repaid is if they survive/never get attacked.

Building back 6k stoners just to pay back won't be efficient (to you at least) compared to simply buidling ~4k spears (depends on barracks level etc etc). If people are donating say 200 stoners to the 'cause' then I hardly think they'll worry about getting them back. Even for a two isle player (magiter being the player currently in FoM smaller that two isles) this is only ~2 days on each isle of production, for those of us with 10+ isles 200 stoners is virtually nothing. Personally I've got 2k laying around somewhere (that doesn't include the 500 on loan to digital (even though he doesn't know about them yet^)).

I agree with eproxy, Stoners are just fodder to irritate attackers with, If i send them (normally a 30+hr 1 way trip) I'm not bothered about getting them back, just if I get attacked I would like some to be sent to help.

I say except to replace your own commitment then i would build Spears with the resource, much more useful in the long run

OK then, I wont return the stoners unless people ask me to, so please PM me ingame if you want yours back and let me know how many.

I will return the ones that Digg members sent of course, around 500 I think.

Dude those 500 are staying on my isle, they were a good will gesture for invading my ocean (Yes its MY ocean! ).
