But I must admit that there are a few people whom I would be somewhat unenthusiastic about fighting for, since I'm not convinced they would do the same for me. Anyone who feels this way about anyone in FoM please PM me and we can look at resolving such issues. PM'd, but I'd better clarify here too. There are a handful of players who have yet even to post an introduction in the 'isles and rulers' section (it isn't a lot to ask.) I know some quiet members will throw their weight behind the alliance when a war comes, as they did when we fought Tyrant. But I couldn't say for certain that everyone will. The queston of commitment is inherent in all alliances though, and I believe we proably have the most loyal membership of all open alliances. I'm in no way declining to help anyone, which is why I used the word 'unenthusiastic;' I agree with Natmus' comments on his doctrine thread—regardless of my personal feelings on any matter, my fleets are always available if the alliance requires them.

All FoM members(yes that does mean you!!) are required to send me tribute to show that if harm came my way they would be there to step in and 'Take the Bullet' so to speak. So can all FoMers?? send me 200 gold. If not I shall know who is inactive and requires some pruning ;D Respond within 48hrs to avoid extermination

Personally, I would feel pretty comfortable helping anyone out, in any of our alliances. Even if I never spoke to them before, I'd have enough trust to do things anyway. Of course, thats not to say, that my help would be restrained, if some whiney, annoying n00b came shouting for help, having never contributed, or never helping out, but we dont have such members, so theres no worry there! Get people reading forums, and if something particularly important crops up, then PM them. (I think this happened vefore to good effect!) It occured to me that if everybody posted as much as our top posters, I'd never be able to keep on top of the forum! ;D *Random informative... information!* I have my very first driving lesson coming up. Wish me luck!

Good luck man. I hope I can join you and the millions of drivers soon, though that looks unlikely, as I'm almost 16, and I havn't even taken drivers ed yet. But yeah, I'll send you some good luck stone to your smaller isles.

But yeah, I'll send you some good luck stone to your smaller isles. That's why there are so much casualties on American roads... Young grasshoppers of 16 driving around... I'm almost 17, but I can only start driving a vehicle at the age of 18...

You know, I understand the topic that is being discussed here. It's very valid. Being new, I think I have a very basic grasp on the whole situation. Morkin members have been playing together for years now on the .co.uk server, where FoM is a bit of a more 'open' group (but in no means open compared to most alliances on the server). So naturally, when the same level of trust is asked of FoM, it's going to be a hard pill to swallow. But I also know those, those that said a good campaign is needed to earn that trust are very wise indeed. Words are cheap (being a minister and a preacher, I can tell you this firsthand ), and the only way true trust is earned is through an intense situation (such as a campaign) or through time. You get to know someone, who they are, how they will react, if you like or dislike them and most importantly, if they are dependable. Then, and only then will someone be trusted. Only time will prove those members who want to be trusted and included. I'm willing to wait for that chance!

I have learnt that even time does not always create trust or dedication
